Aberdeen, New Jersey

 Aberdeen, NJ

Aberdeen, NJ is a Township located in Monmouth, New Jersey that borders other townships, such as Hazel, Keyport, and Old Bridge. Aberdeen boasts a historical background dating back to the 1600s. The first land grant was awarded to Jonathan Holmes in 1677 in the area that is now Oakshades. Its proximity to the Raritan Bay made it an attractive piece of land thanks to the fisheries.
