The female black widow spider is considered the most venomous spider in North America.

Black widow spiders favor dark, secluded areas such as crevices and woodpiles. Inside they  typically hide in sheltered, dimly lit locations such as garages, dark corners, basements, closets and cluttered areas.

Carpenter Ants

They favor damp, warm environments to build their colonies.

Unlike termites, they do not eat wood.  They prefer sweet nectars, plants and fats.

Carpenter ants will forage for food up to 1,000 ft. away from the colony.
